Your Role

This role can be based in any of our UK & European sites


The Business Director will be responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of 2 of our key accounts. Managing a team across the UK and Europe, you’ll be responsible for building and developing relationships with key client stakeholders, and developing the long term overview for the accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing strategic leadership and direction for a portfolio of client accounts, driving strong financial results against operational targets from your Account teams
  • Signing off of Account plans and operational objectives for your teams
  • Regularly forecasting the portfolio's sales results, and flagging any WIP issues and process problems for resolution
  • Providing personal support and coaching for Direct Reports
  • Handling any senior level escalations from clients, working with your teams and direct reports to seek effective resolutions
  • Establishing and maintaining close relationships with senior client stakeholders, in order to support the account plans of your Direct Reports
  • Working closely with Clients and your teams to identify and develop organic growth from existing business
  • Regularly review performance versus SLAs, ensuring contracted business is being delivered in line with agreed terms
  • As a member of the Leadership Team, support, guide, contribute and co-operate with other members of the senior leadership team, senior management and own team to drive the strategy for the Deploy division and to ensure its success
  • Seeking, directing and requesting new strategic change projects and programmes of activity to further the business aims and objectives on your accounts
  • Maintaining an expert level of awareness of the direction of strategic accounts and new business opportunities which are likely to progress

What You'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Managed complex multi-million turnover accounts
  • Experience of Change Management - both senior commercial and complex level projects
  • Managed other Senior Managers
  • Experience working in Print Management/POS
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis Techniques
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint Skills
  • Experience of coaching/mentoring a team
  • Relevant technical product knowledge
